Why I Blog
I got a blog address in the winter of 2007. I hardly ever wrote anything. I don’t even know why I started it. I had some good spurts, but they were always followed by long dry-spells. Recently I was thinking about all this and I had this conversation with my blog-writing husband:
Kassie: “I think I should write on my blog more.”
Brian: “Why?”
Kassie: “I’ve never been very consistent in it.”
Brian: “It’s not really a big deal.”
Kassie: “Not unless it shows inconsistency as a pattern in my life.”
Brian & Kassie: “Hmm”
So, the reason I blog is to practice consistency in my life. It’s not because I have such good things to say, wisdom to share.
Plus – in writing more consistently, I’ve discovered that I like it.
